HIPRA improves production planning with MAVAL

The implementation project was completed in just 6 months and enabled a transition from manual planning to automated planning for shop-floor operations.

The main outcomes include: optimised time and resources, and a better balance between product demand—customer orders and stock replenishment—and the available plant resources—machinery, operators, raw materials and by-products—to generate a feasible production plan.

In addition, this implementation digitalised the information and know-how that operators had about machine routes and production operations, and integrated everything with the corporate ERP for improved management and control of raw materials and semi-finished products.
