Opcenter X 2610: modular, cloud-based Manufacturing Operations Management for industry
Discover how the latest version of Opcenter X improves planning, quality and traceability.
Transforming the way you produce is more important today than ever. Companies need tools that connect planning, execution and quality control, enabling teams to work more efficiently, with real-time information and aligned processes.
This is where Opcenter X comes in: Siemens' Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) platform, designed to help companies optimise production, improve quality and increase the visibility of their operations, without the complexity or costs of traditional systems.
With each release, such as the recent Opcenter X 2610, Siemens strengthens its focus on modularity, accessibility and seamless integration, delivering practical improvements that allow manufacturers to digitalise their operations step by step and cost-effectively.
What does Opcenter X offer?
- Modular, scalable architecture, allowing specific functions to be deployed and expanded progressively.
- SaaS model, with automatic updates and lower IT costs.
- Fast, accessible adoption, ideal for SMEs looking for digitalisation without complexity.
- Faster ROI, focusing investment on the modules that deliver immediate value.
These features make Opcenter X an ideal tool for companies that want to optimise production, quality and traceability while reducing errors and downtime.
What's new in Opcenter X 2610
1. Smart assistance with Opcenter Copilot.
Opcenter Copilot guides users by reading and displaying documentation in the configurator and applications, speeding up troubleshooting and the onboarding of new employees. It does not replace specialist training, but it reduces friction when exploring new or complex workflows.
2. Visual Information Navigator.
The Navigator provides an immersive view of assets, work orders and operational data, displaying quality indicators such as CpK directly in the context of the plant. This enables faster, more accurate decisions without switching tools or context.
3. Material-aware scheduling.
This feature generates schedules aligned with actual material availability, combining supply, demand and bill of materials data. It also improves Gantt navigation and order filters, making production planning and monitoring easier.
4. Improved quality and traceability.
Traceability now supports parallel operations through the Parallel Gateway of the Create Work Order API. Non-Conformance workflows add attachments, exports and clearer cause→effect relationships, speeding up the investigation and resolution of issues.
Benefits for your business
- Greater operational efficiency: less downtime and fewer manual errors.
- Full visibility and control: real-time data for informed decisions.
- Agile integration: connectors and smart assistants make integration with ERP and automation systems easier.
- Phased adoption: plug-in modules deployed according to business needs.
